Yes, men make up approximately 12% of the massage therapist field. There are no gender restrictions in the profession, and both male and female therapists undergo the same rigorous training and certification processes. The focus is on skills and qualifications, not gender.

What are the health and wellness reasons for a massage?

Pain relief or pain management was a top concern when consumers discussed massage with a doctor.

Soreness, stiffness or spasms.

Chronic pain relief or pain management.

Injury recovery or rehab.

Health and wellbeing.

Control headaches or migraines.

Prevention and/or to improve quality of life.

What if I do not like a lot of pressure during my massage?

Every client is different in their reasons to seek a massage and their individual preferences in massage modalities and pressures. I tailor each and every one of my massages to my client's individual needs and the client always has full control in their massage experience.

What do I wear during the massage?

I hold myself and my client's to the highest standards of personal respect,

safety and professionalism. My practice is a judgement free space meaning that all persons are welcome and will be treated equally regardless of their visible and non-visible differences. Treat others in which a way that you would wish to be treated. The majority of client's (male and female) choose to undress completely during their massage sessions and as always they have the choice tp dress down to their personal comfort levels.

What if I am self conscious with my body, personal space, etc.. Can I still book a massage?

Absolutely, I pride myself knowing that many of my clients choose me as their first stop in their personal massage therapy journey. We all have bodies and that everyone should feel absolutely comfortable in their own skin. My client's come from all walks of life, body types, fitness levels, ages, massage experience, etc. I love my massage clients and I am honored to be able to continue to work on them. My reviews speak very highly of my professionalism and skill set as a health care provider.

Do I work with minors (under the age of 18)?

Correct, I have worked with minors for my entire massage career. The majority of my clients of this category are high school ages athletes that participate in every sport you can imagine. With these clients, I require additional paper work for parental approval and a parent or legal guardian must be present during the massage service. If you wish to allow your child to have their massage session with out you being present, that may be accommodated with verbal and written consent of the parents/guardians and of course consent of the client as well.

Have you ever traveled to a client's home for a spa party?

Many many times yes, since these are very popular requests for massage therapists as well as my coworkers in the spa industry. I have always had a wonderful experience with such bookings and bulk pricing may be negotiated for your specific event such as type of services (table massage, chair massage, length of services, etc.) Some popular ones that I have been a part of have been neighborhood friend gatherings, "Galentines Day" parties, bridal showers, athletic events, etc..)
